Maroochy River

Designed by Graham Marsh, the 18-hole par 72 layout is unique in that it is basically a links-style course, with wide fairways, few trees and lots of strategically placed bunkers. What makes it challenging is the water, which is a feature of almost every hole, and the wind. It’s a rare day that the wind does not affect play, but one important benefit is that it keeps golfers cool in even the warmest weather.

With the iconic Mt Coolum as a spectacular background, Maroochy River is an all-purpose golf complex, offering superb practice facilities, a well-stocked pro shop, a modern clubhouse with outstanding bar and bistro facilities, a function room capable of hosting weddings, conferences and dinners, and – most importantly – friendly staff who make every visitor feel welcome.
