Burswood Park Golf Course

A challenging opening hole with distance being the key factor in making regulation.

The recent modifications to this hole have significantly improved the look of this par three and the new bunkers make accuracy a must.

A scenic par five with lakes on the right and left. However a generous fairway helps to avoid these pitfalls for some.

A straightforward par four where a good drive is needed to attack the second shot.

One of the signature holes of the course. This par four has a tough start by negotiating the drive over a 130m lake. But the player is rewarded by a spectacular view of the Swan River and city from the green.

A large two tiered green gives you plenty to aim at with this par three. However dont stray too far left as water and bunkers come into play.

A reasonably short par four but with a water hazard cutting into the fairway and bunkers surrounding the green, club selection is crucial.

Another short par four especially if the tee is forward. For some the temptation to drive the green is too strong.

The feature of this par three is the raised green with a downhill slope making for some tricky putts.

The shortest of the par fives at Burswood. A good drive leaves you with the choice of cutting across the lake to the green. A high risk for high reward hole.

The signature hole of the course. A par three with a lake surrounding. The elevated tee gives a superb view of the city and river. Makes for a tough hole especially if tee and wind conditions arent favourable.

A 366m par four which has a sloping fairway. Trees and shrubs come into play on the right hand side.

A difficult hole from tee to green. A large tree and bunkers are present on the left hand side, while a creek and shrubs on the right. Need to hit straight here. The sloping green also makes it a real test of nerves.

The longest par four on the course. Fairway bunkers and more around the green definitely come into consideration here. The elevated green also helps to make it one of the best the course has to offer.

A dog leg right par four with the lake lining the right side of the fairway and green. No room for a slice here.

A deceptive par three. Not many hazards present but makes you think twice about where to aim.

Bunkers litter this par four but with a wide fairway it does give you plenty of scope to play it safe.

A dog leg right par five which approaches the clubhouse. The water on the right is difficult to resist trying to go over on your second shot, bringing many a good golfer undone.
