Par 4, Length 294m
A short opening hole that tempts the long hitters to go for the elevated green surrounded by bunkers. Anything right off the tee will find deep rough, but the fairway bunker and OOB down the left must be avoided at all costs. Best to find position down the fairway and pitch on.

Par 5, Length 485m
A long par 5 downhill from the tee and uphill to the green. The fairway bunker is in the landing zone for longer hitters, but a huge expanse of fairway provides plenty of alternatives. A generous fairway all the way, your approach to the green needs to be on the same level as the pin on this large green with a huge tier collecting balls on the front-right section of the green.

Par 3, Length 184m
A long iron is required into the prevailing wind, but pretty straight forward hole otherwise. Best to leave your ball below the hole on this green which slopes severely from back to front.

Par 4, Length 372m
A longish par 4 with a generous fairway leaving you a mid to long iron approach to a green shaped like an upside down saucer! Fairway bunkers left and right as well as deep rough either side will severely punish wayward tee shots.

Par 4, Length 383m
A great hole...and a tough one. Bunkers left and right from the tee, but plenty of landing area still. Plenty of club is required to get your second shot all the way to the green sitting high above the fairway. The green is huge - featuring two tiers and some pretty slick putts from the back!

Par 4, Length 419m
Ideal position is down the left side of the fairway, leaving a long but open approach to the green. Leaving your approach slightly short of the putting surface, for a chip up the green is certainly not a bad option. Longest par 4 on the course at 419 metres.
7
Par 3, Length 128m
Shortest par 3 at only 128 metres, but don't be fooled. A cavernous bunker protecting the green front left requires you to fly the green if attacking the pin.
8
Par 5, Length 468m
Shortish par 5 with plenty of area right off the tee on this double fairway. OOB, deep rough and traps all the way down the left should ensure you play this hole with caution. Watch out for the large bunker front left leading to a green sloping severely from front to back. A difficult approach shot even from close range.

Par 4, Length 348m
Who said Ranfurlie has no trees! Left side of the tree is fine (over the top is best!) leaving you with a testing approach shot uphill to a green positioned at 45 degree angle. Trouble is down the right side with swamp areas and thick rough punishing the wayward ball.

Par 5, Length 538m
A blind tee shot down a large hill with plenty of landing room. Hopefully you reach the bottom with a favourable kick forward, shortening the hole somewhat. Not as daunting as the yardage might suggest. Just persevere!

Par 3, Length 177m
A long par 3 that generally plays into the prevailing wind. Right portion of the green is protected by bunkers front and rear, leaving the left side of the green open.

Par 4, Length 345m
The fairway bunkers are lurking to catch wayward tee shots, but if you pass those, you are left with a short approach to the green. A very difficult green to hold downwind.

Par 4, Length 397m
This long par 4 doesn't hold too many surprises, but requires two solid shots to make the green in regulation. Deep rough right of the fairway is the worst you can do, but plenty of room left off the tee should be the aim.

Par 4, Length 404m
Bunkers left and right coupled with thick rough left requires accuracy and distance off the tee. The approach shot has a touch more room to work with to a large green unprotected at the front allowing you to run the ball on the green.

Par 3, Length 149m
A solid par 3 ideally suited to those who can draw the ball right to left. Well guarded by bunkers again, this hole grows horns when the wind blows. Anything long will roll off the slightly elevated green, leaving a tough chip shot.

Par 4, Length 272m
Shortest par 4 drivable for the most accurate, but the smart money suggests a lay up before pitching on to the undulating green. Deep traps protect the green all around, so accuracy is the key. This hole has been voted by golf writer Darius Oliver as one of Australia's best short par 4's.

Par 4, Length 407m
A long par 4 needing two good shots to reach the dance floor. It's a long way home from the fairway bunker on the right. Again, the green is large and a low, running approach shot will not be punished around the green.

Par 5, Length 509m
Bombs away! Hit it as far as you can towards the clubhouse, but make sure your second gets to the top of the rise. The line from the bottom is the entrance to the bar where a cold beer always hits the spot!
