Par 4, Length 353m
Aim your tee shot down the left side of the fairway and your second shot to the front fright the green to leave a level of uphill putt. Avoid water to the left of the green and out of bounds long.

Par 4, Length 351m
A very demanding tee shot that you must keep to the right half of the fairway. This gives you a good look at the green which slopes back to front. Stay below the pin or risk a 3 putt.

Par 3, Length 163m
Great par 3. Aim for the left half of the green to avoid the run off to the right which would leave a tricky chip shot. Beware the prevailing wind from the north.
4
Par 5, Length 465m
A great risk reward tee shot. Avoid the fairway bunkers on the left to give you a chance of reaching a well-guarded green in two. To avoid the trouble play as a three shot hole by laying up off the tee.

Par 4, Length 302m
A superb short hole. Take it on with the driver by aiming directly at the green. Or lay up with a long iron left of the fairway bunker. Tricky two tiered green. Be on the same level as the pin to avoid a 3 putt.
6
Par 3, Length 142m
Nelson's signature hole. When the pin is front left keep short of the pin for best results. When the pin is back right, take an extra club to avoid catching the slope that guards the front of the green. Ball breaks towards the sea on this green.

Par 4, Length 380m
Long dog leg left. Keep the tee shot left to shorten your approach into a table-top green. Avoid missing the green right as this leaves a tricky up and down to save par. The sloping green is deceptively fast from back to front.

Par 4, Length 339m
A short par 4 that plays into the prevailing wind. Hit your drive up the left side of the fairway to shorten your approach. A tricky two-tiered green. Take an extra club if the pin is at the back.
9
Par 5, Length 492m
Long par 5. Chance to open the shoulders but keep to the left of the fairway to avoid the deep rough which frames the right side. If going for the green in two, it's better to be long than short. If laying up, the 100m mark is the best place to attack from.
10
Par 5, Length 479m
Keep to the left from the tee to avoid the pond and the rolling mounds of deep rough. If going for the green, make sure you can carry the mound in front of the green. If laying up stay short of the mound. Approach shots always play longer than they look.
11
Par 4, Length 360m
Be aware of the bunkers from the tee, so a decision can be made to lay up or take them on. The wind may influence your decision. Deep green that you don't want to miss long as it leaves a very tricky chip shot.
12
Par 4, Length 323m
Great dog leg left that takes you back out to the sea. Once again a decision to be made from the tee whether to lay up or take on the fairway traps. The approach shot plays longer that it looks into the wind.
13
Par 4, Length 353m
Straight par 4 but keep to the left half of the fairway to leave a better line into a green that sits angled left to right. The approach shot plays longer than you would think into the wind.
14
Par 4, Length 396m
A difficult hole, particularly in a SW wind. A demanding tee shot with OB to the right and rough mounds to the left. Second shot is mid or long iron into a small green protected by OB on the right and a drop off to the left. Short is best miss here.
15
Par 3, Length 185m
Great par 3. Make sure you take enough club to carry the front bunkers. The rough on the right is very tricky. Long is better than short on this very demanding par 3.
16
Par 4, Length 309m
Accuracy off the tee is crucial to leave you with a clear shot to the elevated green. Take at least 1 club more on approach to counter the elevation change. Also allow for the prevailing wind which you may not feel from the fairway. Aim left half of the green to avoid RH slope.
17
Par 3, Length 136m
From an elevated tee this is a testing par 3. Keep your tee shot to the right half of the green to avoid the slope that funnels the ball into the left hand bunker. Keep the ball below the pin to leave an easier putt.
18
Par 4, Length 369m
A straight drive is needed here to avoid the rough on the mounds guarding both sides of the fairway. When approaching the green, keep the ball below the pin or risk a three putt as the green is deceptively fast from back to front. Enjoy the 19th!
